Carlton Hotel - Behind Taj Mahal Palace Colaba Mumbai

Good locality!Heritage hotel!can drink water, tea cofee unlimited! 24x7!!!

Location is close to Taj Palace, India Gate and Leopolds Cafe.Basic amenities for an overnight stay.

Comfortable rooms and a very helpful staff. Hotel is situated at a great location. Walking distance to some of the iconic spots of Mumbai.

Rooms and toilet are too small and dirty.

People working there are really nice, the location is great, and the common balcony is a real plus.

It is maybe not the most confortable place but the price ,the people and the location makes it a good option in this part of Mumbai.

We love staying at the Carlton when in Mumbai Raju always looks after us and is very friendly and welcoming. The balcony is fab for a bit if people watching. The shared facilities are always clean. See you soon x

No hygienic rooms, Bed smelling over all, toiletries not provided by hotel owner.

Position exceptional, very nice balcony with free tea and coffee. We came at 7am, they gave us the room immediately without additional payment, they kept our luggage until 8pm next day. The manager brought us a beer on a bank holiday.

Stairs at entrance were very weak and very dirty. Food being cooked outside the toilet. 1 toilet and wash room for all rooms including staff.Reception didn't exist... taken straight to room.Unhelpful staff.Security guard chased us when we left terrifying my children.

The location is excellent in the heart of Colaba. The rooms are bright clean and spacious. The shared bathroom facilities are clean

nothing to dry your hands on at the sink outside the shower room. very basic room but clean stated. room with balcony but it's actual outside and runs the whole length of the rooms on the landing so anyone can sit there so it's not a balcony for your use with the room just for all guests in general first come first served . no breakfast either shower room is a long away from the room far away in another corridor.

First I visited hotel this is hotel having room having paint falling,fan creating noise,bedsheet dirrty pathetic

I reserved a room with window but got a hole like s storage room converted into a bedroom in the hallway. Not worth it a penny. II felt I was in a salvation army room. I should be able to claim my money back or will never ever book a room through Booking com.

Shady staff . Unclean linens . unclean common toilet and bathroom . unclean room . Found bread crumbs on the bed. A staff member clicked my passport on his personal phone,when I asked him why,he said it needs to be send to the CID office for inquiry.bad experience.strongly recommend to stay away from this place.

Location awesome. Staff very good. Room comfortable. Shared baths clean. I liked everything, I'd I highly recommend it if it was not for the stink in the room.

Nothing. No friendly faces, no helpful staff, rooms not cleaned till you beg. You are not informed that over and above the fees stated online you need to pay an exorbitant gst. You get a shock at the final bill and realize you could have booked a 5 star hotel. As for the common toilets they so filthy and cold water showers are normal.
